No. NJ is a direct access state which means you do not need a Physician referral to start PT. In the event that we feel you need medical attention beyond the scope of Physical Therapy we will refer you to the appropriate provider.

Each treatment session is 60 mins long. We also offer 45 min sessions for patients who prefer shorter sessions.

BPT and Wellness is an in-network provider with Medicare and an out of network provider with all other insurances. We DO accept most PPO commercial plans and submit the bills directly to the insurance. We will also verify your benefits if you are unsure of your coverage. We also offer Self Pay packages. We provide a different brand of Physical Therapy. We are NOT your traditional home care company. We offer a PT experience at home: We bring the clinic to you! We also provide the same equipment and tools you would find in an office visit. Our areas of expertise include treating orthopedic and neurological conditions.
